I might like to suggest an alternative viewpoint. Many Many loving and careful parents end up with wayward children. It's the entire point of FREE WILL. You can love, be kind, generous, and compassionate or you can be narcissistic, hurt people, destroy and hate. Doing the latter doesn't mean the parent loves you any less and stops hoping you will come to your senses and start living a more loving life. And whether the parent is He or She doesn't change the way that parent loves.
